Our events

We believe in active offline communities!

At the core of YesWeBleed is the belief that the menstrual cycle is not just a personal experience, it is a collective one. We hold that healing is a collective process, and that menstrual justice is something we build together, through active, caring, and courageous communities.
We regularly organize free offline events that create space for expression, connection, collective healing, and advocacy through social engagement.

Menstrual cycle : A decolonial introduction

Let’s explore the menstrual cycle through a decolonial lens, challenging dominant narratives and reconnecting with diverse ways of understanding the body.

How much do you know about your menstrual cycle ? How much of that knowledge come from a Western framework?

In this workshop you’ll be introduced to ways of observing and tracking your cycle that honor ancestral, Indigenous, and non-Western knowledge systems.

Painting & Healing

What if we gave our emotions permission to speak, move and take shape?

For centuries, the emotional experiences tied to the menstrual cycle have been dismissed, ridiculed, or silenced.

In this workshop, we come together to offer these long suppressed feelings space to exist, breathe, and transform.

Through intuitive painting, we’ll invite the emotions stored in our wombs and cycles to rise, take form, and be released, not through words, but through color, gesture, and presence.

This is a collective space for expression, reconnection, and healing.

Panel of discussion : Transforming shame into success

This conversation takes place during Embrace the Flow, our signature workshop series in celebration of International Menstrual Health Day. As part of this month-long journey, we’re proud to have organized and reunited an incredible panel of women leading change across menstrual, sexual, and mental health. This May feels especially powerful: it marks one year since our very first YesWeBleed event on Menstrual Health Day in 2024. 💫

Join us as we explore what it means to invest in FLINTA’s health and well-being not only because it’s urgently needed, but because it’s a powerful driver of innovation, community resilience, inclusive partnerships, and transformative business success.

Will you be your valentine ?

Join us for a heartfelt workshop where we’ll explore what self-love and community love truly mean.

In a world where the political climate feels increasingly challenging, it’s easy to feel isolated. But now, more than ever, it’s crucial to remember that our strength lies in our ability to love ourselves and stay connected to our communities. 🫂💜

This Valentine’s Day, we’re flipping the script—love isn’t just for couples. It’s a celebration of you, your journey, and the bonds that tie us together.

What to Expect:

Creative Exploration: Dive into drawing and writing exercises designed to help you express your unique perspective on love.
Honest Conversations: Share and listen in a safe, supportive space where vulnerability is celebrated.
Self-Reflection: Explore themes like self-image, belonging, and the transformative power of love in your life.

This is more than a workshop—it’s a reminder that love, in all its forms, is a radical act. Whether you’re celebrating yourself, your friends, or your community, this event is an invitation to connect, reflect, and resist together.

Stories from the uterus - With Andrea Palasti

Join us for « Stories from the Uterus » a creative workshop exploring the often-silenced experiences that can face people with a uterus.
We’ll start by connecting with our bodies through movement, tracing and embodying the shapes and flow within ourselves—drawing parallels with the organic forms of water like tides, currents, and waves.
Next, we’ll engage in a mindful coloring activity using unique illustrations adapted from vintage scientific diagrams found in a 1973 gynecological textbook. This shared experience will shift focus away from individual discomfort, inviting participants to reflect collectively on the stories held by our bodies. No prior art experience is necessary—just a willingness to create and connect.

If you’re hesitant to come because discussing this topic feels intimidating, take a leap — we’ll be here to catch you.

The created pieces will be displayed across the city, allowing our voices to travel and raise awareness.

The drawings were appropriated from ‘Explorations Gynecologiques’, by J. Botella Lluisa, Madrid/Paris, 1973.

Flowing perspectives - With Kayra Hohmann

Having a menstrual cycle is a natural process that should never lead to injustice or discrimination. Unfortunately, menstruation is still surrounded by taboos and individuals with a menstrual cycle have been silenced for too long. It’s time to reclaim our strength! Your story matters!

The menstrual health picnic offers a collective healing method where participants share their stories and are attentively heard without interruption or judgment by their peers. During this session, we support and listen to one another. All emotions are accepted and encouraged; This is a moment to embrace your true self and let the magic unfold.

👫 Who Can Join?
Everyone is welcome! Bring your friends, family, and anyone interested in supporting menstrual health.
